It's not like she's an actress who can sing. She's a singer, that's what she does. And this was a musical. Why was she in this if she wasn't going to sing? Was there a deleted scene I never saw? Were there intentions to have her sing that fell through? Has she been in any other role that didn't involve singing?

shareI would think for any reason an actor or an actress would make a movie for a paycheck, that I would think would be the main reason for acting in it, otherwise why else be in a movie plus I bet the casting director thought she was right for her role, otherwise I am sure she wouldn't have been in the movie then. That is if you work why do you work for a paycheck you know to get paid for the job you do.

She's in it because she has the right of "creepy" face for the other woman. Frankly, I think she can't sing very well - her voice is too screechy. I thought she was awful in the TV production of Chess (with Josh Groban). Obviously, I'm in the minority here, but I still think she was cast in Enchanted because she looks like the girlfriend you love to hate.
