Narissa motivation at the end?

Hi -Spoiler Alert!-

Loved this movie to pieces!! Didnt understad Evil Queen Narissa's motivation for still trying to kill Giselle at the end once everyone realize Edward was not her true love?

I mean she should have seen Giselle was no longer a threat to the crown!

reply

Queen Narissa transformed herself into a dragon to make an exhibition of her power and magic. Her massive ego was her motivation to kill.

reply

At that point, it didn't matter if Giselle was Edward's true love or not. Her evil schemes were made known and Edward was going to have her dethroned. She needed to kill him and all the witnesses in order to stay in power.

reply

Expect if the only people she only technically need to kill was her step-son and her ex-faithful servant? No one else lives in (fictional land)

reply

Narissa would have returned to her land an absolute monarch more than ever, having demonstrated her "dragonly" power in what was a fictional world for herself.

reply

As she herself said, because she's spiteful and vindictive.
