Yes, I was there as a volunteer extra for this movie. I didn't attend L.B., but I had time to kill, and I can now strike "be in a movie" off my list of things I want to do.
I remember arriving early in the morning and seeing metal detectors at the front doors and thinking: "Gee...I didn't realise L.B. needed these things! When did they install them?" since I'd been there for concerts and such in the past and didn't recall them being in place on those occasions. Of course, they were just props for the movie!! I had a good laugh at myself when I made that realisation.
Yeah, they filmed scenes outside in the parking lot (had police cars parked there), in the main hallway and in the auditorium. We (extras) were there from like 5:30 in the morning til about 6:00 pm at night. All for about 5 minutes of footage that would eventually make the cut.
I really hope they bring this movie to DVD. It would be cool to see the final result, since I don't think it's aired locally.
