Sorry if someone's already had this answered, but were Damien and Sinead married sometime in the film? There's a party scene and her short hair is covered in a white wrap and she's wearing a white dress. It just looked kind of like they were getting married.
In that scene, they were celebrating the truce (before they knew all the details, of course).
It seemed to me that they got married sometime off-screen, though.
I wondered that too, but I doubt such an important event would have been skipped when the romance had been quietly built thru the movie. Sinead was still living at home in the burnt-out house at the end, after having begged Damien to take her away from it when her gma was preparing to live in the chicken coop.
