Goddamn, I'm irish and I couldn't understand a word they were saying

A combination of that hateful Kerry accent and/or talking fast/shouting made it impossible to make out what they were saying a lot of the time. Gonna need subtitles if I decide to watch again.

You're so Irish you can't tell the difference between Kerry and Cork? Yeah good man!

Hey! You're not old enough to drink! Now go and die for your country!!!

I usually associate that accent with Kerry but I guess it goes for the whole of Munster. Either way, hearing it makes me want to headbutt an ice pick

You 'guess' and 'ice pick'? Yeah you're Irish and the Queen is Pakistani. And it only goes for the whole of Munster if you're a yank Irish wannabe and can't tell the difference.

Well I'm an American and I used the subtitles. Not ashamed of that at all. As a result I had an easier time following the movie since I wasn't so hung up on trying to follow what was being said. Very good movie by the way. Smaller and more intimate that the "epic" biopic "Michael Collins".

Michael Fassbender has a Kerry accent doesn't he? He's from that area.
