Very true... They should have found someone who can play nerdy, but who is actually looks passable when dressed well and with a bit of confidence... It really would have made the second half of the movie much stronger...

Most of the previous rumoured candidates were better, from Logan Lerhman (ideal as he is prettyboy, but can play awkward) to even Miles Teller, who is no oil painting, but can carry himself well and is not without charm (The Spectacular Now)... I suppose those two were too old by the time the movie was shot...

that kid was a bit too award as well so its even harder to believe someone as Gorgeous as Kate Beckinsale would hook up with him and on top of that she was already dating/cheating with his dad.

Maybe they already blew the budget with all the big names in this one...

Have to agree that Callum Turner is distractingly unattractive like Adam Driver.

Plus he can't act.

Kate Beckinsale dated and fucked Pete Davidson who is thrice more repulsive looking than Callum Turner
