Why does this make me nervous?
Seeing the stairway to heaven?
That skull on the bonnet of Baby?

I want them to survive....

If you had to choose (I know you cant, but try) One of them dying, or both of them dying?
Honestly with the show ending, I'm OK with them living or dying. Just as long as it's not only Sam or only Dean dying. I'd feel SO irritated if they separate them at the end of the show. I know many will ball their eyes out if they die, but I cant think of any other way it could end-end.

I have feeling Cas is going to die, or move on, based on what Misha said at a panel during a convention. Someone asked about a happy ending for Cas. Misha said, he cant see a happy ending for Cas other than sacrificing himself. Cas has always been about an Angels Duty and protecting those he cares about it. Ironically, sort of, Dean said a similar quote to Sam, he said he doesn't care about himself, never had. Dean has always cared about what happened to Sam.

Sorry, went off topic of poster...I do that.
I think it looks terrifying in a way, but it also looks western to me. I don't like how some of their faces look so mannequin-plastic like.
Maybe the stairway to heaven, is like God testing them, or feeling between life and death, heaven and hell

I was glad they had Baby on the poster. She deserves it. At first I didn't see it but there is a crow standing on top of the skull. There's something on the drivers side but can't see what it is, possibly flames.

After the 3rd (maybe 4th) time looking at it I realized it's the Devil's Trap overlaying the Angel Wings because I couldn't figure out what those were at the bottom of the stairs. And I can't tell what the Angel on the right is holding. It looks like a spear.

There's probably loads of stuff I missed but it does look like it points to them dying because of the Tat at the Pearly Gates. I can see one or both sacrificing themselves to save the world. Cas I can see dying to save Jack. Wonder if there will be a battle between Jack and God and Jack wins. Will that mean that Jack becomes the new God???

I'm on the side of not wanting either to die.

I remember a while back that Dabb said that 30% of the fandom will be happy with his ending, and Jared responded on Twitter I think, that means 70% of the fandom will be mighty pissed with the ending, that's a lot of pissed off fans. So we can take it from this ratio that we are gonna be un-happy with its entire outcome over 15 years of stories. I had a gut feeling I would be one of the un-happy ones as I am hard to please and want the best for my favourite characters of all time. I have dreaded this finale day for a long time now, and way back I remember we discussed possible SPN endings, so many were so very, very different. Most of those outcomes came to a conclusion we all know might happen.

One or BOTH of them dying and sacrificing themselves for world-wide savings. I am thinking of the story, and if they tell the story in a strong way, I am thinking about impact here and to gain that impact we need to really see one or both Winchester's die. Or Cas dying to save them from it. I have for a while had a hunch without seeing any conversations about this that Cas will be killed off, so this could be a reason in why he does so. I also remember Gadreel's story that he killed himself to protect heaven. So Cas would need a feasible plot to push him this way. But, I am with lilmac I don't want either to die in the end, never have.

Lilmac I am with you that Jack kills God and becomes the NEW God. Seems fitting some how. It also feels part of the Supernatural feeling.

I think that 30% 70% was during Comic Con in July. It made be nervous because I don't know which "percentage" I'm in. I would think I'm in the 30% because I don't agree with much of fandom, but then I might pout when it ends, so I don't know.

I don't want it to sound like I don't care about these characters, but I don't want it to be a cheesy ending, like Once Upon a Time was, I mean it was nice...but it was TOO nice and TOO many inconsistencies of everyone's lives and its timeline. However, it followed the "guidelines" of the show: happy endings and what fairy tales mean. I don't want that to happen to Supernatural. Supernatural didn't start off as a fairy tale and never has. I'm not saying it should end brutal, but I want it to mean something about where we started with these brothers and angel friend. The last few seasons (Dabb era) have felt overly playful and less dark/suspenseful.

Jack ending up to be the "new" God is a little cheesy imo. Though, he is the most powerful being, does that necessarily give someone the right to be God? Also, Jack is not even close to being mature enough and making decisions. He's still technically 2 years old. The only person, or Angel that has been thinking about the bigger picture, what is right and what is wrong is Cas. Not that he has a shot at being "God" - but I don't think anybody can make anyone "God" - I just see a lot of people suggesting that as the ending. It's fine if that's what you want and if that is what happens, then fine. Jack does have a big heart and I saw that in Season 13 and 14. But, he's also easily manipulated. In that challenging Season 14 finale, Duma or whatever, was able to convince him to hurt innocent people (whether or not they believed in God). I would think God wouldn't care, even Chuck, what people think of him.

Please Chuck, no cheesy ending. No everybody is reunited and in Heaven. No Sam and Dean grow old secluded in a cabin having given up hunting. No wife and rugrats. Technically it is Sams story so logically if he is the last one standing with Dean making the ultimate sacrifice (again) - that would make the most sense. If they both die that would make the second most sense. In either case they could be brought back for a movie. If they just go away and no one knows what happened to them then they could bring themselves out of retirement should the need (Apocalypse #256) arise. Perhaps there will be a deal between Heaven and Hell that as long as the Winchesters stand down then there will be peace for all. Who knows. After the crap show that Dabb and Co. made of the Michael/Dean storyline I refuse to get enthusiastic over the final season. Pavlov’s conditioning baby. Experience has shown that once a storyline gets truly interesting and compelling, Dabb will pull the rug out from under us and give us a predictable, uninspired one instead. Fool me once and all that.
