Season 4 of Supernatural
I really don't know what people were thinking the summer after season 3 ended... did you think Dean was going to be in hell for entire season? become a demon? Sam did something crazy?
This season introduced Angels and I thought it was a good addition, however they abuse it later imo. It's always a rough season for the boys, but Dean revealing what happened to him in hell and what he did there....wow. Also, the boys go against each other somewhat in this season. We see Sam kick in his "super demon powers" but we don't see until later demon blood is the key to it. We meet a few new dicks, Zachariah, Uriel, Alastair. Ruby is back. Did you guys think Ruby was bad, or did you think she was actually good? We meet Anna, who goes from being "human" to an angel, but I have to say that when she was a "human" she was like a 15 year old and as an angel she was like a 70 year old. Of course there was more Bobby, we meet Pamela, see Tessa again.
I thought this season had a lot of great amazing episodes, but Monster Movie wasn't as enjoyable and it wasn't because it was in black white. I expected to enjoy it, but I just couldn't. And I really had to reach to find an episode I didn't like this season. The magician one was a little "meh" but it was watchable.
Just like the Trickster, maybe more I wish Chuck was only a prophet because while watching this I cant see God. I see this scared - wimpy man who is quite believable. People will argue that it's God and he's a good "actor" but if you were God, would you really want the boys to find you and get caught up in the Angel crap? I don't think so. Was Chuck really a prophet and God just took his identity? Though, it does hold up with God loving his stories and all that, but it just turned this show into meta diarrhea, I'm sorry. I'm not a fan of the book series storyline.
They "jump the shark" which I don't think they did here, we meet Adam, but the ghoul plays it well as if John "moved on" from Mary and the boys. And lastly, we meet Castiel's vessel Jimmy and his family. I wish this little girl returned to play Claire (If they really needed to), because I cannot stand the actress they replaced her with.
