Season 2 of Supernatural

Like Season 1, I enjoyed Season 2's dark tones and having the boys on the road as they continue to hunt and search for the Yellow Eyed Demon/Azazel. The funny thing is..I don't remember them ever referring to Yellow Eyes as Azazel, only YE, we don't learn his name until Season 3. The writing was great with the creativity of ghosts and monsters the boys faced. We learn more about Sam and the "special children" which a story I really liked, but Sam's premonitions kind of disappear after Ava goes "missing" - they were just on a roll with the story, but then they started doing more mow episodes it felt. We meet a few notable and recurring characters: Ellen, Jo, Ash, Andy, Ava, Trickster/Gabriel, Gordon, Agent Henriksen, a few others I'm sure.

Though, I enjoyed Season 2, there were a few annoying things. I really...really did not like the Roadhouse as a recurring setting. Ash is supposed to be this "genius" where it took him until the end of the season to help with anything. Also, I feel bad for the character, because he was only in like 4 episodes and was killed off. If it wasn't for the actors portrayal of Ash, I cant say I would care. While Bobby is the closest thing they have to a father, but continued to call Ellen for help(?) Lastly, Jo is very annoying in the majority of her episodes. So, everyone will disagree with me here, but I really wish the "Trickster"...was simply only the Trickster. While rewatching Tall Tales, I didn't like this episode as much as the first time. I have more notes on this, but I don't want to get into it until I get to season 5 and see if I still see things the same.

>Favorite Episodes: In My Time of Dying, Folsom Prison Blues, All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2
>Least liking Episode: No Exit - We had too many scenes with only Jo and Dean, which felt very uncomfortable at times. I also didn't like how they handled the ghost, felt very lazy. The story suffered.

I agree with the Trickster thing....I wanted him to just be the Trickster. I doubt it was the original plan to have him be an Angel the whole time. Also, I never liked Jo and hated that episode where she was paired up with Dean.

I like the roadhouse setting rather than the bunker.

Ghostboy, I am totally with you about Jo SHE was one character that still annoys me to this day. How she began the little sister figure peed me off. I loved Ellen on her own without Jo, if that sounds harsh Ellen was a character better off on her own. I would love to have seen Ellen and Jody pair up together, what a formidable pairing. I also loved the roadhouse, and was fuming when Eric had it destroyed like it didn't mean anything. That community of Hunters again had this word real potential to go all the way. Individual lives, individual stories all who could help Sam and Dean and save more and more people. If it came down to it,

I would however, keep the bunker as the boys need a base, and somewhere to call home. Something they've not had before and somewhere to feel safe. So I am divided on that one.

Here I thought I was the only one who wanted the Trickster to simply be the Trickster...and didn't like Jo.
