Who do you think is going to return?
Personally I'm unsure by the term "fan favorite" - Is Gabriel still alive? Are we finally going to see Adam again, though I don't think he's a "favorite"
Is Crowley going to make an appearance?

Any one of those I am fine with. I want to see Adam most of all, I think he needs some sort of closure its one that's been bugging fans for years. I would adore it to be Crowley but then he has found work on another show bum! Gabe I could see back but he's been back from the dead and killed off again, so don't think its him. Some think its Lucifer or Nick? For some reason my head thinks Rufus, and Kevin because of the Donatello story but that's a way off hunch. How about you any more thoughts?
Rufus or Kevin would be great..I just have a feeling it's someone we've seen recently like Bobby or Charlie, but that's the AU versions..
Are they referring to them as the same "faves" because to me any characters from AU are different characters imo.
I hope they dont mean Lucifer or Nick because Nick has been on and as a main cast member so that's not a surprise, or a favorite, of mine anyway.
I think we are overdue of what happened to Adam, or even "our" Michael.
I also heard that someone is going to get killed and "it's going to hurt" so to me that's a fan favorite. Is this who they are bringing back also going to get killed as well?
Also, if a main character like Cas or Jack get killed off...they've always brought back somehow....so idk how seriously to take it

shareI don't want it to be Charlie either. Yes, Claire appears to be a fan favourite, apparently she has a big following. So it could be. Is it going to be a more recent creation or someone from the past. The list is endless, and we could talk about this for weeks. Will it surprise us, or not?
I agree with you re AU characters, I feel they are the actors playing them, but are a completely new character to what they played before if that makes any sense. Its nice to see the actor play them in a different way, and Charlie to me I feel I enjoyed her playing this version much, much more than the original Charlie. But, I prefer the original Kevin than the AU Kevin, and the original Michael, not sure about this actor who played him.
I have heard that Cas might be killed off as its sort of been hinted at that he may end up in the empty and they won't let that story drop.
I really do want to see Adam again, it would make my season sort of complete. I need to shut that door on it, so I know he's sort of okay. Not that their might be anything left of him. Please show, bring back Crowley!!

Charlie needs to stay dead. Same with Kevin. Wish Naomi had. Adam would be interesting because he too sacrificed although the way it ended up for him was unintentional. I’d like to see him return as pissed and looking for revenge. And crazy if our Michael is still with him. The next Big Bad.
I for one am glad they wiped out the AUHunters. Too bad the grumpy one was missing that night...

Isn’t it supposed to be someone from early on in the series? I hope whoever it is that they keep it under wraps so that it’s truly a surprise.
Please NOT BOBBY. That is the last character I ever want to see again. Some characters need to stay dead otherwise it just cheapens their sacrifice.
Yeah, me too, on Claire returning to die. That might sound horrible, but she's a horrible character.
I think Dabb wants to believe that. As I think she is HIS favorite character.
Claire is a pain in the ass, always has been to many and think she has lost her way. Her stories have no back bone and many fans find her story boring, so I think she has a 50/50 fandom split behind her. I personally find her irritating at best. I have always preferred Alex out of the two. I love that dynamic between her and Jody.
NO, definitely to BOBBY coming back, AC I am with you about him repeatedly coming back, he's had enough chances, and the AU Bobby just buggered off into the sunset leaving Mary, ha what was that all about? I didn't care for the AU storyline and sort of pleased the AU story line has been wrapper up. But wished Maggie had survived at least. I was getting attached to the character.
AC I am surprised you are not keen on Kevin, I am a huge fan of Kevin! So angry they killed him off.
I doubt it's Chuck, I don't think God would be bothered in this plot to want to intervene. Far more important stories have been told in the past, and he's not shown up for the boys when they've needed and prayed for him to make an appearance.
I desperately want it to be Adam, as its a reason for him to return and be pissed at the boys I can see him wanting revenge and clearly cause them a headache in trying to reason with him.
Could it be an angel from the past, as Sister Jo is coming back. Maybe she wants to round up all the angels and make more since they are declining and heaven is in a right state. But then they bought back Zach just to kill him off, so he was one of the most powerful angels from the past who could help. I think Gabe being an archangel could sort out this story if he did return since he has that power and could create maybe more angels? I also have Anna the angel banging around in my head, could she make a reappearance?
I liked Kevin but I’m tired of the whole bringing them back from the dead or whatever. If you want the drama of their death and the angst and consequences that come along with it then own it. Let us grieve and move on. Obviously this doesn’t apply to Sam and Dean but anyone else is fair game. Kevin, Bobby, Charlie...they had their time. Someone as powerful as Crowley, Michael, Rowena, Lucifer...those I could buy or even Amara gifting Mary back to Dean. Bringing back great characters from the past only to kill them all over again - example Gabriel. Such a waste. And then technically some of them aren’t even from our reality - example Zachariah or the AU versions - so do they really count? It’s cheap.
I despised that Dabb killed off the Michael Dean one true vessel connection but while writing this I realized that he didn’t. Not really. He killed off AUMichael. So our Michael and Deans “there can be only one” true vessel love/hate connection still exists. Deans Michael hatred just like Celine Dions heart song will go on. :). So my Dabb hate can still live on too - just a tad less.
I get what you mean, they are also doing a fan service to keep us many fans happy to see our beloved characters come back even if its another version of themselves. Death has I think since Bobby died maybe earlier has had no real effect. When Sam died in Season 2 it felt horrific, it meant something for Dean to chug off and find someone to bring him back. But now like kidnapping of characters is becoming predictable, and not as exciting to bring a past character back. But I guess that's show bizz. Writers have full control of their destinies in the palm's of their hands, and can do anything they want with a character. They can play with danger, and re-ignite our passions for a character that we've not seen in years. But its just the story telling in which they do it. Zach had full potential wasted beyond Kurt Fuller's years, and it showed to have a majestic character zapped out in one go. It also was cheapened by what harm Zach could do to a character, inflict pain on them at whim.
I feel our writers need to move forward in certain area's for it not to get stale, and feel I've said this before a number of times.
AC don't forget we still have the REAL Michael still in the cage, so it might not be the end for Dean to play him one day in the future.
