Was on youtube I found on one a comment regarding Michael and Dean. Hope they don't mind if I borrow it but it sounded good.
They said that Michael left Dean because he thinks Dean will be able to get Kaia's spear. When he does then Michael will retake Dean.

I think it's fairly obvious this is the case. I hope it doesn't take the gang too long to work this out so they can suitably prepare for Dean to block Michael's repossession. Work on some warding or whatever.
