shareI'm not sure if will be a sacrifice but more of a breaking point. At the beginning of the season he saw Cass getting killed and thought Mary had been killed in the Au by Lucifer. When Sam wanted Dean to accept Jack, Dean couldn't. He blamed Jack for the loss of Cass and Mary. Then when Jack told them that Mary was still alive that's all Dean could think of, rescuing Mary. There was a teaser where Mary wants to stay in the Au and join the fight. I think Dean is going to shut down over it and there may be something else that will trigger the shutdown. But I have no idea who or what he will become.
