I don't think any of the season finales are doing well across all networks. I've always thought May is the wrong month for Sweeps. Spring has arrived in full force. It's finally warming up here in Canada. Evenings are light and people are outside until after 9pm. After long dark winters it always seems wrong to be sitting inside watching TV when it's so nice outside. I don't know why a TV season can't run from Sept 1st to March 31st for all yearly network series.

Filming would have to begin earlier of course - but summers are nice in Vancouver meaning possible t-shirts and arm porn. And the Js would be off during early spring which is nicer than hot humid Texas summers. Win Win all round.

But, anyway, what do I know?

Pond, I love your idea, Summer is for being outside enjoying the sunshine setting in the evenings. With long family walks in the fresh air. It feels wired watching the show at 9 o'clock in the evening when it's still light. It just doesn't feel the same watching a spooky show in the light.

I'm actually going to be optimistic and go with a 1.7 viewers and a .7 in the demo for the first ep and depending on how that goes either a tick up for the finale or a couple of ticks down. So the second ep a 1.8 or 1.4 and either a .7 or a .5....So I am out as far as the guessing goes for the finale.

It's the second chart. We stayed a steady .6 for both eps all the way through

Thanks but I was curious about actual viewer numbers. Apparently we had a slight uptick of viewers at the half hour for each episode but a decrease in viewers between 22 and 23.

Oh that was the first analysis earlier today. The one I posted was the finals. It did lose viewers in the second ep.

Supernatural ... 0.586 (0.570 .. 0.601)

Supernatural ... 0.567 (0.562 .. 0.571)

Not sure what it means but I found the numbers interesting.
