Think the ratings will go up? Will they go down? Takings all guesses here.

Early ratings are 1.52 and a 0.5. I'm guessing the 0.5 will hold. Let's see what happens with the total viewers.

Remember when we were horrified if the show went below a .7? Now .5 is the new normal.

I was just thinking the same thing after I typed out 'the 0.5 will hold,' like that was a good thing. The new season average for the demo is 0.60. If we keep getting these .5s it'll go into the .5 range. 0.7 was what it was at for season 11.

I'm surprised that the viewers went up considering how hated last weeks episode was and the dreadful preview. At least last nights episode was pretty decent and deserved the higher viewer count. It seems like the show is safe this year from a 0.4. Unfortunately, it looks like Dabb will get another chance next season to drive the ratings even lower.

I don't think Cas pulls in the ratings some think. I looked at the half hours. Last week started lower and dropped substantially at the half hour. This week started higher and rose at the half hour. Oh and FYI, I like Cas although I haven't liked the writing for him in quite a while.

Honestly, it's the new normal for all of the CW.
Supergirl, the number 2 show which started a 1.1 is now at 0.5.
We're doing better than them. Just as I feared, Dabb is safe.

So who won this week? :)
