The finale

I finished season ten last night to one of my new favorite seasons. My feelings are running high at the journey so far. So instead of posting them one at a time as I'm too excited in starting season eleven. So I will do an extra long post.

Never cared for Charlie, but her last episode got me in the gut. She was special to Dean giving him humanity that he was losing. She had such a tragic life only to end up butchered in a bathtube. I hope whwreever she went that she's happy with her patents. Still I don't see why she needed a motel to crack the code when they had a rundown building for their operation.

The Steins were a great villian as the traditional monsters are mostly parodies and used together. Having the family as real life humans with advanced surgical skills made it terryifying to think they have been mutilating mankind for centuries, those who find out the truth are killed and they walk amongst us unaware of the brutality they are capeable of. I think it works well as Dean wants his revenge for Charlie, while they see him as a scientific miracle. I haven't been creeped out at this show for a while and these last couple of episodes were the ticket as no matter how much you near away at them they keep tickin. No one was safe. They could be neighbor's who do middle class work, send their kids to school and could live right next to you.

Another was the last episode Dean kills Death. I didn't think the show would go there as it was often suggested he would rip God one day. I felt it was a big sacrifice for Dean saving his brother and very moving. Still I wonder what a world without death will be like. Their will be repreccussions and I think it's going to be on a massive scale. We see death as finale, butur ends sickness and brings peace.

That ending is on my top ten of best scenes for the series as the darkness is unleashed.

Just out of curiosity, what are your top 10 scenes for the series?

10. The darkness coming. The whole scene with Rowena casting the spell, the Mark leaving Dean and the darkness coming out of the ground blew me away.

9. The angels falling from heaven.

8. A supernatural Christmas when Sam gave Dean the samulet.

7. When Dean travels back In time he meets his parents before they were married. Gave us more insight into who they were and you realize that Dean is more like Mary, while Sam is more like John,

6. When Cas showed up proclaiming himself as God.

5. Dean arrives in the future seeing it has been taken over the Croatian virus and runs landing by a fence. A tank pulls up and starts playing do you love me as they shoot them down.

4. Dean meets cas inside the barn for the first time.

3. At the beginning of season 2 Sam thinks Dean was dying. He has argument with their father. It really played with my emotions raw and sad.
2. When Bobby, Joe, Ellen and the boys take one last picture together before heading out for battle in season five.

1. The finale of season 2 when Dean shoots yellow eyes and the demons are released lighting up the pentagram

Same for me. Season 10 was amazing.

"I felt it was a big sacrifice for Dean saving his brother and very moving."

I agree. I always love it when thebrothers do crazy things to save each other, although I do miss the character. Death was one of my all-time favorite.

Hey virle I think it's my favorite. I actually finished season eleven last night and while it had some good episodes I felt they ran out of steam.

I mean that ending seemed so forced. God is really gonna let his sister go after all that destruction and soul eating? It seemed even Lucifer got a pass, but the scribe who missed him and thought of him as his best friend is forever gone. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Also, I didn't mind Chuck being God in season five, but he didn't strike me as inspiring this time around. It was forced, rewrote history and was goofy.

I mean Chuck was hiding? Never a prophet? Also he seemed so shy around Becky and now had many girlfriends and boyfriends?

Oh the fans were NOT happy about the finale. Dabb tried to justify himself but it was clear the cast wasn't into it either.
Jensen, Jared, Misha and Mark had to get on the phone with Dabb to modify some things. There was a thread about it not long ago.
