Slumber Party

What did fans think of it? Im a fan of the wizard of oz and they took some liberties. I felt the story was told in the tin man series sort of way. What are thoughts on this episode?

I found it entertaining enough. Nothing to do with the Oz theme. I just love Charlie and I loved the Ezekiel storyline.
I didn't like the moment where Sam and Dean were possessed by the witch or Sam's reaction to the idea of the bunker as home but I enjoyed the episode overall. I also liked Dorothy.

Thanks Vee. It took me long enough lol. I don't have the internet were I live and can only use my smart phone, when I get enough bars. So I finally got a chance to use a computer and checked out all of my spam emails and found the one I`ve been looking for to confirm my email.

I loved Charlie too. I liked the episode as well. The witch was fun, the take on Dorothy was fun...it was just a fun episode.

I t was interesting to say. I think it was interesting how oz was real and written down as books though the mythology was wrong. I wonder if f L. Frank Baum was in some ways like Chuck who wrote the books as he saw them and changed the details like the witch dying and Dorothy making it back home.

At the time Strannger it wasn't that well received I seem to remember. I thought the Witch was well done and the actress did a good job. Like Vee, I loved Dorothy and thought she left an impression me as a great guest star. Wished she'd come back in the search of Charlie, but realizes what has happened to her. Writers bring her back please! There were area's of the episode that were a bit corny, and am not a great fan of Charlie, though some seem to be.

I remember those fan flame wars. I agree Belle that the writers made her perfect. No matter what episode she appeared in the boys became helpless and needed her knowledge.

I did get that about Charlie, but even now I still find it hard to warm to her. She always feels as though she is full of her own importance, oh look at me, 'bitches' if she says that one more time I will SCREAM. The only time I felt for Charlie was when she was reading to her mother from the Hobbit books and she lost her mum. She had so much warmth. I just found most of the time she irritated me. And felt as if the show was about her every time she was on screen and not the boys.

I kind of liked the first and third Charlie episodes (The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo and Pac-man Fever). I didn't really care for her second episode (LARP and the Real Girl). I hated Slumber Party and actually have it down as my top pick for worst episodes. If I were forced to pick something about that episode that I didn't mind, then I guess it might be Dorothy. As for the rest of Charlie's episodes, I didn't mind There's No Place Like Home until the end, which I hated, I thought Book of the Damned was 'meh', and I thought Dark Dynasty was bad in that it involved all of the characters acting OOC in order for the conclusion to work out the way it did.

By the way, how far are you into season 10?
