Writer's Strike
It won't affect this season if it comes to pass, but if the last one lasted almost 100 days, will it impact on next season? Are any of your summer shows at risk?

shareSummer shows shouldn't be at risk, especially ones getting ready to air this month, because those series are usually filmed and in the can, sitting on a shelf waiting for an air date.
A strike would most obviously affect the new network fall season, but wouldn't necessarily affect cable or streaming shows that are, again, already filmed and on the shelf waiting for a berth.
In fact, I think it's precisely because of original cable and especially streaming network programming that doesn't adhere to the same network shooting schedule that the WGA will have less leverage this time around, because it's going to take a lot longer for audiences to notice a difference.
Yeah, I figured shows on original cable and Netflix, etc. would be fine. I'm wondering about the timing of it if nothing will be affected over the summer. It means it will have to go longer, as you said, for it to mean anything.
