shareI'm extremely happy about this site, features are being added constantly and it's looking better and better. I haven't been a regular on any specific board for a while, but it's become a habit for me after watching a movie/show to check the boards for other peoples thoughts, opinions and explanations, or to leave my own. So this is the best option for me, traffic or not.
All the movie and tv show boards are still pretty dead, I would reccommend just posting stuff to generate some activity, otherwise people will have a short look and leave again.
PB you're right totally about posting stuff to generate more traffic, but if posters don't know about this site how do we get them here in the first place? Unless we use our own social media sites like Twitter and facebook to say IMDb is up and running but under another name MovieChat? As at the moment, people are posting every couple of hours. I am hoping tomorrow after the episode has aired people might be searching again to find somewhere to chat and stumble upon the site again. I am liking the new features a lot like the slide bar on the front page to show which sites have had latest activity. I really want this page to get back to its old self.
shareI agree, but what I'm thinking is that if we, who have found this site, create more postings and discussions, those who find this site might stay and contribute because they see that it's an active site. Right now people don't bother posting because they think nobody will read it anyway, and maybe go back to the sites that have more active users. I just think it might help getting this site running.
