I'm sure that at some point a return of this series will happen. Its just a "when" more than a "if". Because all the sitcoms are making a return! Maybe they do only one season,maybe they do around 3 seasons,but they are all coming back. So sooner or later even How I Met Your Mother will come back! And thats good because this show needs to fix that terrible ending! Lets start from making the alternate ending official,and then lets create a new season (or many new seasons) from there! It will be legen...wait for it...dary! Legendary!

I don't know about that. I never had a problem with the ending. They tried to do a "How I Met Your Father" spinoff but it never got off the ground.

Altough it should come back,by the way,i hope they wont make it too woke with Barney forced to apologize for his terrible actions,or Marshall acting all GretaThunberg-style,or other situations like that.
