I missed it because I had to work.

The geeks had a make-over, which Joe transformed most in terms of looks but he disliked it--causing a little friction from the contestants, including his partner Tara. So, besically the entire episode was about him ranting. Question though, was it just me or did Joe and Tara steal the vast majority of screen time from last night's episode? From Joe getting really upset to hear Tara's constant criticism with his cowboy look, to being disappointed with his make-over, to everybody trying to be supportive of him, yet rant after rant. I hope that's a sign of things to come.
Back on-topic. After the make-over, the geeks had a challenge to perform a soap opera scene with the beauties on the set of The Young and Restless, where actors Joshua Morrow and Michelle Stafford were guest judges. Kristina and Jason *beep* up the entire segment with Kristina giggling all the way through it. Randi gets a little naughty with poor innocent Greg (on scene). Chris and Cara was the most cliched. Abducted by pirates? If anything it was comedy than serious, and I believe that's what they were aiming for. Amanda and Tommy create some sort of a horror play, which I thought was very creative and one of the best of the night. Leticia and Matt, of course, have a touching scene. And there was an actual kiss! So good that the guest judges crowned them winners. Which means they have all the power (that and the fact that they will get to attend the Prom Night's world premiere in the red carpet), however there is a twist involving the elimination. In the staircase ceremony, Mike announces that there won't be elimination, instead the winners get to hang out in the city and have to choose one team to tag along. Leticia chose Randi and Greg. Only thing is, the last four remaining teams will have to decide among themselves which team will be heading to the elimination room next week. At the end of the day, they chose Joe and Tara because of Joe's obnoxious behavior.
Oh, and while in the club, some girls were hitting on Matt, which made Leticia feel slightly jealous. She claimed she was with somebody, referring to Matt, to the guys who were hitting on her. I love how they're building for a Leticia + Matt romance episode by episode, slowly.
Arch Angel #9
I agree the entire episode seemed to be centered around Joe and Tara, which I found extremely annoying because that's one pair that should have left episodes ago and Joe has got to be one of the most annoying persons on earth, although it was nice to not see him in that cowboy hat and sequined vest for once.
Was I the only one that found the makeovers this season extremely dull? Tommy and Greg both looked a lot better before their makeover and now that I think about it, so did Chris. Were they in charge of their own makeovers? I know that they choose their own clothes but did they also choose what to do with their hair? Because to me the point of the show is to have a beauty help them with that stuff.
Oh and you forgot to mention that the geeks held a cross dressing contest to decide who was going to be eliminated next week and it was really awkward to watch, especially Joe's drunken diva act.
