Anyone else find the host annoying?

Like, not annoying as in "Oh my gosh, make it STOP!" but annoying as in... finding him pointless.

It's like he only appears three times an episode to tell them what's happening next. He has no personality! He just says stuff and smiles like an idiot!

It's so weird... but usually hosts make the show.

Bob Parker with the price is right, Drew Carey with whose line is it anyway, etc.

This guy does nothing...

Anyway, yeah. A weird thing to complain about but it drove me nuts since episode 1 (I've only been watching since the start of this season).

I actually agree with you, I don't get it because a lot of people love Mike Richards and think he's a great host but I've always found him annoying because he smiles so damn much it's ridiculous. His whole personality on the show just seems so automatic. Personally I preferred the Season 1 host, his name was Brian or something and he seemed more natural.

No, i don't. Mike Richards is awesome, and just because he doesn't say much doesn't mean it's his fault. An actor in a film can't make the film amazing if the dialogue/script blows. Same thing here. And Brian McFadden was an awful host, Mike in Season 2 was the best as he was more involved.

yeah with shows like this the host should blend in with the scenery, your not suppose to really give him a second thought. hes fine though, he doesn't try hard to be funny or thought provoking, and yeah the guy from season 1 sucked

First of all, the show isn't focusing on the hosts personality...
It's about the BEAUTIES AND THE GEEKS.

In that case I am hoping Joe is finally at long last elimanated tonight, but , in regards to the host he is fine

Neither host has made much of an impression on me. I was surprised to see the first host go; what did he do that was so offensive? We see virtually nothing of the host and good thing too: the show's about the beauties/geeks and even with them they're eliminated so fast that we really don't learn particularly much about 'em.

That's probably why some of the beauties and geeks are so off-the-wall odd 'cause otherwise we couldn't tell them apart a day later.
