Is it really bad to buy clothes on sale?

Honestly, I couldn't believe when Tara said that it's bad to buy clothes on sale because it means they're out of style. I thought only people in movies talked that way. I mean, styles don't change that quickly. Most stores seem to put clothes on sale not because they're out of style, but because of the weather. For instance, summer clothes go on sale in the fall, winter clothes go on sale in the spring. I mean, does Tara throw out all her clothes after a few months and buy new ones?

This was just superficial nonesense puked out by Tara. Wear what you want to wear and don't let other people tell you how to dress.

what tara said was totally dumb. things dont go "out of style" THAT quickly.
i love the sale racks. cheaper prices..what more could you want?

She gave advice for Joe so it was dumbed down.

Most on-clearance stuff is stuff they couldn't get rid off and from last season. It takes a good eye to identify those few items on clearance that are any good.

Tara's advice was good for a clueless guy like Joe.
