(% indicates change in viewer avg from last year)
* Friday Night Smackdown was the only show on The CW to improve on last year's average.
* One Tree Hill experienced the lowest drop from last year's average, only dropping 1%.
* Girlfriends didn't return with new episodes after the strike. If it had, it likely would've seen drops similar to those the other comedies experienced.
*Online Nation was canceled after 4 episodes. The average would've likely been even lower had it continued to aired!

CW has really screwed up, I say they give up and go back to the WB, it's nothing but mindless shows nowadays and with BATG canceled I have no reason to keep tuning in to CW.

Let's see a gigantic mansion, food for crew and contestants, several cameras, limos and other expesive transportation, renting numerous sites, nationwide searches and a payout of $250,000. VS. a normal set, normal # of cameras, yes there are the actors salaries but thats the most expensive feat, B&tG also has to pay the cast ( its not just the winners that get paid) . The Production cost of Beauty and the Geek is most likely substantially higher, the only reasosn why Reality shows make it is b/c normally they are the breadwinners of a station or pull in additional viewership (American Idol brought a huge audience to House (just about everyone i know who watches AI watches House)) B&tG wasnt bringing in the numbers and had a substantial viewership drop from last year.

this is one of the few reality shows i watch mainly b/c it actually does something for the contestants, (the other ones i watch: who wants to be a superhero- mainly cause of Stan Lee b/c that show is so increibly corny, and the last comic standing- i walso watch Run's House and Rob and Big but i dont consider those the bad reality shows) im dissapointed its gone, but im not gonna blam the CW for dropping it.

and im not sure if its been cancelled yet or if the person who posted this was just taking the show not on the renewal list for the fall- as B&tG is normally a spring or mid-season replacement show. so i wouldnt hold my breath yet.
