Does anyone know why they switched hosts after season 1?
shareI saw an interview somewhere, maybe YouTube, where Mike Richards talked about the switch. From what I recall, it was mentioned that the switch was made because people felt the Season 1 host didn't really fit with the format of the show because he just seemed to be there to laugh at the geeks or something to that effect. Basically, I think the producers just didn't think the Season 1 host clicked so they decided to go with Mike Richards for seasons 2-5 because he had a "geekier" look.
