How is Tom a Geek?

Can someone explain how Tom is considered a Geek? I only saw the final show. Is it his job... Hobby... Personality? His style? I don't get it. Did he start on the show with a grizzly beard or thick glasses or something? He seems pretty tall and handsome to me!
Thanks!

How is Leticha considered a beauty?

reply

Did you look at her? She is gorgeous. Definately top 3 of the beauties.

I'm sorry I don't speak computer-ebonics, please type in English.

reply

Oh my goodness, are you serous? She is very old and ugly looking.

"She is very old and ugly looking. "

You either think that only women who look like drag queens are attractive or you're a troll.
In which case, get back under your bridge troll.

That's it, she looks exactly like a drag queen! A very ugly drag queen. I can't believe you people are serious, do you not remember Leticia?

What!? Leticia looks anything but old! She's absolutely gorgeous, I agree with slickwilly, she is definitely one of the top 3 beauties this season. Comparing Leticia to Amber is like a sin. To top it off Leticia also had the better personality while Amber was nothing but a bitch from beginning to end.

Leticia was my FAVORITE... I thought she was drop dead gorgeous!!

He wasn't a real geek by normal standards because he was so slick with the ladies, that plus he was probably one of the hottest geeks in the history of the show (yes it can be debated that Nate and a few others were hotter, but I mean Tommy was hot even from the beginning, he actually looked BETTER pre-makeover so he didn't even grow out the token beard and don the glasses). But yes he did have some geeky characteristics; I hear he memorized the dictionary, he's in law school, in the recap I think he recited the table of elements, he mentioned on BuddyTV that he's into Shakespeare plus he has said that he hasn't had a girlfriend since the 6th grade. So basically it depends on whether or not you define geeks by physical standards, mental standards or physical AND mental standards. Personally, I didn't consider Tommy a geek, just a really smart guy who needed to get laid (and he probably did) oh plus he mentioned he was in a track team at some point and I'm sorry but since when are geeks athletic? He seemed more goody-two-shoes-Catholic-school-boy than geek to me, and sweater vests aren't even geeky, they're preppy 90s (didn't Seinfeld use to wear sweater vests back in the day?)

reply

I agree...he was just a hella smart guy that needed to get laid. I am dating a guy right now who is a self proclaimed "mathematician" and has a job he can't even talk about and looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO geeky by any standards and NO girls in a club would probably talk to him (and he's really short) and I might be considered a "beauty" in this case but he could get girls like me and some probably even hotter. He's hilarious and has had his DAMN share of sex with skanky hot little emo girls and he has done drugs. But I am almost POSITIVE because of his educational background and looks...he could so....SO....get on this show.

Spoilers:
"I only had sex with her because I'm in love with you.

Walk into any physics department and at least 40 percent of the guys look like Tommy. About 80 percent of the nerds I know like to either bike or jog when they're not gaming, and a bunch of those run a few marathons a year. They don't run too fast, however.

I really don't think Tom was a geek, though I won't say he's there hooking up girls. And I don't agree that he was shy at the first sight of beauties. True shy guys are Jim, etc. Tom just SHOWed his expression.

I wonder how he felt when he watched the show on the air and saw how Amber "played" him like a fool? Bet he was furious with her.
