This is how "Deadpool" is connected to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"

In Timeline Prime, Wade's father became Weapon XI/"The Dead Pool" a.k.a. Barakapool. In 1981 AC ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine").

Thank God, 2023 Wolverine changed the events of 1973 and created a new timeline: Timeline Sigma. In this new timeline, Wade's father never became part of Team X, instead married a woman and birthed Wade Wilson Jr. (named after him).

Wade Wilson Jr. is the one who will become the proper and legit "Deadpool" in 2016.

I love the X-Men continuity and the X-Men continuity is one more time saved!

My mind. You can even rename them. :)

"Sigma" is used to indicate one "sum of parts", even disjointed. I like the sound!

This was never confirmed, so it's just mere speculation on your part.

It's the same Wade Wilson. You might be wondering, but how does that make sense? It doesn't. X-Men movies don't take logic and continuity to heart.

Charles Xavier looks younger, but still the same old man in 1970s (X-Men Origins). He's also standing and walking with a younger Magneto (who still looks like he's in his 50s, in the 1980s (X-Men 3).

X-Men Apocalypse, however, takes place in the 1980s and the characters look way younger, especially Xavier and Magneto. Xavier has his head shaved in Apocalypse, but still.

Its all the same universe but since Days of Future Past reset the timeline the Deadpool of "Deadpool" exists and the Deadpool of "Xmen Origins" never happened. Its also why Apocalypse takes place in the 80s with younger/different versions of characters who have already appeared in previous films of the same universe.

Ages don't match. They cannot be the same person, regardless the time alteration.
