Decent _ Definitely deserves a better score than 5.6

I dont think its fair.

For sure its not the greatest biopic or directed greatly but definitely not 5.6.

I gave it a 7 because I like the music and think both Jen and Marc did a good job with the acting. Marc more than Jen.

I guess people dont accept Jen as she tries to be a good actress or just hating on her without reason.

Nevertheless it was a good biopic. My favorite scene when the unknown singer give El Cantante to Hector as a present and what a present it was!

Except that's not how it happened. Reuben Blades wanted to record El Cantante himself, and Willie Colon had Hector do it instead. Reuben does now concede that Hector did a better job with it and was more more successful than he would've been, but he didn't give the song to Hector as a "gift".
