Marv survived the electric chair - that's the only explanation

there is no other way to explain how he's alive after Nancy got her facial scars.

(in the first movie when he last seen her she had no scars and then he was imprisoned and executed)

so the only explanation is that the electric chair didn't kill him, only stop his heart for a short while.

the doctor examined him and declared him dead. then he woke up in the morgue and escaped. and went right back to the same bar he always goes to.

so Marv is still alive and well

I think it's quite the opposite.
Marv wasn't alive, just like Hartigan wasn't alive in Nancy's segments.
They are both ghosts at this point.
She's the one who actually killed all the people at Rourke's mansion.
The biggest clue we get is when Senator is about to kill Nancy and he sees Marv standing behind him in the mirror.
He turns around in shock and sees no one there. This gives Nancy the window to grab her gun and shoot Senator.

He saw Hartigan in the mirror, not Marv.

reply

That'd be kind of funny.
