After that final Star Wars movie I can see why it's dead.

Only 500 million in the US though. The Last Jedi made about 620 million in the US. Each movie of the trilogy went down, so again, why would they want to continue it? Not good films. JJ is no longer a golden boy in Hollywood.

JJ is a fine director. It was Rian Johnson’s TLJ that was the franchise killer. JJ did what he could to salvage it and TBH is wasn’t that bad.
