It's not really necessary, but I would still watch Episode II for a fresh reminder on how the war started. One thing not everyone would probably suggest, but I'll throw it out there is the 2D original Clone Wars cartoon, as its first volume and Chapter 21 of Volume II provide many segways into the 3D series (introducing Ventress and Grevious, explanation for 3PO's gold upgrade, Anakin's Knighthood to Jedi). Sure the continuity may seem a tad awkward if you really wanna nitpick it, but I find it worth watching. As for the remainder of that original Clone Wars show, I'd save that for after the 3D series as it provides a decent bridge into Episode III.
Regarding the 3D Clone Wars feature , I'd still watch it if nothing else for its introduction of a main character through Seasons 1-5, plus it's pretty neat seeing how Anakin actually ends up with an old spice cruiser and return to Tatooine. Episode III you don't gotta worry about till after the Clone Wars series is over, I'd argue it's better to watch that film afterwards anyway as it basically ends the war. This is the order I suggest following it all:
Episode II
2D Clone Wars Volume I -- Chapters 1-20
2D Clone Wars Volume II -- Chapter 21
Season 2 Ep 16
Season 1 Ep 16
Clone Wars feature film
Season 3 Ep 1 & Ep 3
Season 1 Eps 1-5
Season 3 Ep 2
Season 1 Eps 6-15 & Eps 17-21
Season 2 Eps 1-3, Eps 17-19, Eps 4-14, & Eps 20-22
Season 3 Eps 5-7, Ep 4, & Ep 8
Season 1 Ep 22
Season 3 Eps 9-11
Season 2 Ep 15
Season 3 Eps 12-22
Trust me, as screwed up as that order looks, that's the best chronological way to do it... you'll thank me later.
Seasons 4-5
Season 6 -- The Lost Missions
2D Clone Wars Volume II -- Chapters 22-25
Episode III
Superman & The [Red-Blue] Blur = The Man of Steel
