I noticed in the trivia section for this series that Hayden Christenson was interested in returning to voice Anakin in the show, but was not asked back.
Was this because he was too expensive to bring in or another reason? Surely he could have been the best choice to voice Anakin as he was Anakin in the two movies this series is wedged between. Thoughts?
Because Hayden can't act and everyone making the clone wars (smart people) knew it.
shareProbably because he got a bad reputation as Anakin in the movies... though just being able to spout out a lot of those crappy lines without laughing his ass off is worthy of praise.

Regardless of whether or not you like his *beep* acting, I personally doubt he'd be very good at voice acting. Voice acting requires a lot of energy and enthusiasm, both of which he seems to lack entirely.
