Very sad to hear of the passing of this wonderful actor. From the Magnificent Seven,The Misfits and of course The Holiday, this man was a great living , breathing, creating testimony to 'The Method'. Thanks Mr Wallach, may you rest in peace.

To celebrate his life, my family watched "Moonspinners" and "The Holiday" - two totally different roles, but he played both so magnificently!

Recently saw this movie, and love him in it. The first movie I saw him in was The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Such a talented actor!
shareWhen I first saw this movie, I thought of the award ceremony in some ways as a nod to Eli Wallach's contribution to the world of film... despite the fact that, in the movie, the character was honored for his work as a writer.
Four years after this movie was released, in 2010, Eli Wallach was given a true honor, straight to him this time for his acting, and deservedly so.
Sad to lose him but I am glad he received this notice within his lifetime.
He will always be Tuco Ramirez....he was so convincing.
