I didn't realize how bad this movie was
Wow, whatever the opposite of laughter is, this movie was that. Jack Black was not funny at all, no fault of his, and his side kick was not compelling at all. A very "one note" movie.
Napoleon Dynamite had a charm and subtlety that this and Jack Black do not possess, so I agree. People who love weird more than effective funny love this.
The weird and quirk is not enough for me, it only lasts so long and covers for x amount of failed jokes and bad overacting for me.
