He drinks alcohol even though it causes him excruciating pain after having sown his cheek back together. Is this an indication of him being an alcoholic who craved alcohol enough to pound it down no matter the pain, or did he do it by accident (forgot that distilled spirits make bloody wounds burn)?
shareI think he was hoping that the alcohol would lessen the pain and forgot what would happen when it hit that cut. I don't recall any reason to believe that he was an alcoholic.
