Yet another inconsistency...

I just suffered through this terrible, terrible film. I see all the criticisms have already been thoroughly discussed, but one goof that stood out right away...

In the 2nd reality, after Nick gets fired, Trevor tells him to go back inside and tell his boss he's still having side effects from the accident....

What accident? You mean the one that never happened?

reply

The accident happened in all of the realities, except for the last, in which he killed himself.

where does the good go?

reply

Didn't he floor the gas and barely get out of the way of the truck in the second instance? Thus, no accident.

reply

Yes, but he then rams into a tree or something... in any case, I agree that this movie is garbage.

Pluto was rejected as it was too far out there. Years later, it will become the Death Star.

reply

its still a traumatic event that could cause psychological problems...

reply

Yeah they avoided the ruck but ran into a tree.

I noticed another really big goof (I don't know if this has already been said or not, I haven't read the entire board)
If Julie was pregnant before the accident, how come they didn't have a baby in the second reality? A year after the accident where everyone survived.

reply

didnt she say it died?

in her belly...

reply

Yes, when she's complaining that he lost his job and she's now going to have to get a second job, they're talking about something they lost during the accident, forget what, but then Julie says "That's not all we lost in the accident" meaning the baby.
