Butterfly Effect 2 *Actually a Prequal?

I haven't seen butterfly effect 2 in a while, but i was just watching the first one today where they talked about the father of Ashton Kutcher and how he would always talk about a photo album.

Well in the butterfly effect 2 its based around pictures and not the journal like the first.. So i was thinking that maybe the baby at the end of the second one is either Evan (Ashton Kutchers character) or Evans dad since the baby seems to have the same abilities with the pictures. This is just a thought i dunno how accurate it is.. but it seems possible..tell me what you think.

hmmm I dont think that the baby would be evan since his mom called him "Nick" (im guessing she named him after his dad), but it seems plausible that the baby could be evans dad maybe. I havent seen the first one in a while and I dont remember if they ever mentioned his[evans] dads name in the movie. But I sounds like a possiblility

I doubt this is a prequel seeing as when Nick is researching his "disease" he comes across an article on Evans dad(I recognised the picture) And the movie is also way to modernised for it to end that the baby is Evans dad eg the whole slide show on your cell phone

I havent seen the Second one yet - nd from what i have read i think ill avoid it.
but i was watching the ending of the original and in the Original ( womby) ending, when even plays the tape from his birth his mother refers to the father as Jason. so unless the babys name is so, then i highly doubt it.

now just to play devils advocate in the ending i mentioned before we see his mother with a baby - but i dont understand why everyone is saying she remarried and the baby is a girl. in the sequel sense could it be that Nick is the other baby that she has after Evan Aborted himself?

just sayin. the modernization of the first one is alot less vague than this one sounds.
