Women just see sex and sexuality differently then men

well for the most part.

sex, and sexuality are extremely polarizing among women. some are even hostile toward anything that's REMOTELY sexual in nature. especially if guys enjoy it. if guys enjoy it then it's definitely gotta be bad.. as a woman i have no problem agreeing that porn and over sexualized images can be harmful to women (and men too). but i have to be brutally honest here, most of this boils down to women's insecurities then any real morals (yeah i said it).

women feel threaten by anything that entices/titillate men. therefore it's WRONG. even among women who have no problem with porn per se' are complaining about men liking the wrong type of porn and liking it the "wrong way".

ladies...if a guy wants you to deep throat him because he saw it in a porn flick you can easily say no. it's that simple. or better yet get rid of his ass. instead you would rather blame porn for giving him these fantasies you don't want to live up too.

there's also unrealistic expectation women have of men just like men have of women. thanks to all these cheesy romance novels/flicks which is basically porn for women. these sources of entertainment create unrealistic expectations of men. but i have no problem with that because it's FANTASY!!, porn is fantasy too (unless your some rich and powerful guy then yeah i can see you having hot sex partners each day, but that's neither here nor there.)

if women knew how to assert themselves when it comes to things their willing to do you wouldn't have to worry about men expecting something your not willing to do or accommodate. plus i fail to see how a man getting off on porn destroy your marriage/relationship. it's just people banging on screen. i swear women whine waaay too much over trivial *beep* we have more important things to whine about like equal pay.

also something i posted elsewhere

as a woman i can safely say that i don't have a problem with porn as i watched it since i was 11 (i was secretly watching my parents VHS collection lol). and just to put myself out there, porn kinda confirmed my ambisexuality, and made me a chronic masturbater. HOWEVER i have never had a problem with it controlling my life and decisions. i DO however think the most degrading type of porn like BDSM is actually watched and enjoyed by FEMALES...that's the truth. despite popular belief guys aren't in to that type of hardcore porn.

i do find some of it disgusting and degrading, but i figure they get what they got payed for so *shrugs*. it reminded me of an episode of the boondocks where Riley said if you don't wanna get peed on you move out the way. and to say women are being exploited is kind of a slap in the face to other women. i know plenty of women who would rather liked the bathroom floors for a living then do porn. where as some of the girls in the industry had perfectly normal backgrounds and DEGREES and still chose to do it because they wanted too.

having said that

i do think women tend to get exploited in the media in other areas though. like print ads, commercial etc..but so do gorgeous guys. not to the extent of women though.,

The fact he was soo into porn proves he is a typical normal male teenager!!!!
Cant believe the mum freaked out soo mkuch the 1st time. when i have kids and i catch em looking at porn ill be lke "here let me give you some good ones to watch"

My partner got annoyed at me when we were watching it cos i was complaining so much about it. Saying stuff like "omg wtf?" porn is not a big deal, and the fact his friends were soooo freaked out by him looking at it... weird, shows they arent goin through puberty just yet
lol

I read during the pandemic about a former soap star who is now a porn star, and proud of it, go figure.

reply

Maitland Ward is her name. But she wasn't really all that prolific in her mainstream career. So becoming a pornstar really shouldn't have been a big deal. Imo

reply

She played Eric's niece Jessica on B&B back in the day.

reply

Yeah, equal pay is SUCH a bigger disaster than psycho-sexual filth, disorders, and increasing aggression. And no, porn isn't fantasy, it's real people screwing around.

This is a pretty intelligent post for such a dumb-ass movie. There is a such a thing as porn addiction and the more general category of sex addiction, but there's also such a thing as food addiction, and that doesn't make food "evil". Yeah, porn is more the equivalent of a really unhealthy food, like say donuts. But most people don't constantly eats tons of donuts until they destroy their health, and even if they do, you don't blame the donuts or people that make the donuts. I'd say the same thing about pornography.

As for it hurting the people that make it, is it really the pornography that does the damage or society's attitude towards it? Many people that make pornography often have less sexual partners and are less promiscuous than a lot of other people. In that respect, it's certainly better than being a streetwalker. Aside from the recent fascination with anal sex (that might leave some female porn stars in adult diapers by the time they're 50), it isn't clear it has harmful health effects. But it does ruin reputations and excludes people from legitimate employment (like teaching). But most of this is the ATTITUDE people have towards it. Once upon a time stripping or pre-marital relationships or being divorced would also ruin a woman's reputation and damage a man's. Really, this is just the usual right-wing Puritan *beep* throwing stones. And if these people didn't watch porn themselves, they would never know what these porn harlots are up to.

It seems to me a really bad idea for women to attack porn and make things that much worse for the women who work in the industry, while allying themselves with people who are otherwise bitter enemies. Their whole premise is that men wouldn't have degrading fantasies about women if they didn't watch porn. But they WOULD. That's WHY porn is degrading toward women. Most men just don't fantasize about having a loving relationship with a life partner. But that's because there's a difference between fantasy and reality, and most men know the difference. And even if they don't, they're going to have degrading fantasies about women REGARDLESS of whether they look at porn or not. Porn is driven by male fantasies, a lot more than male fantasies are driven by porn. But if people accept that it's a FANTASY, they wouldn't get so uoset about it. Hollywood "rom coms" are not a realistic portrayal of how males really are, any more than porn is of women, but as long as both men and women realize this, there is little harm done.

Women in that "industry" are animals or treated like them, nor do we tolerate men we care about going to be entertained by whores. There are all kinds of studies about how this garbage sickens the mind and causes disorders and unhealthy reactions.

This movie is just right-wing propaganda.

reply

Absolutely. And the funniest thing is right-wing states are the largest consumers of porn. It's all hypocrisy. The more "religious" someone says they are, the more perverted their minds really are.

reply

Not always, there are some deeply religious people who just have old fashion values. I am anti porn, but I will not demonize the people who perform in it or produce it.

reply

Have you campaigned against porn? How does your militancy work? Is Japanese porn more to your family values (censorship of coitus)? RSVP.

reply

It was a typo. I do not demonize anybody, I just disagree with people which is my right!

reply

It is your right, but you sound to have not thought it thoroughly. Everyone has an opinion, but some people have an uninformed opinion.

reply

Most anti-porn propaganda usually is. Mixed in with some SWERFy feminism.

reply

Sex originally was is and always will be intended for reproduction. Women carry the child, men don't. That is the biggest single reason for the difference concerning sex as processed by the male and female human brains.

When a women gets pregnant, their brains rewire themselves, so as not to kill their children (that was the reason) or neglect them.

Men's brains don't change much, apart from some increase in prolactin. Men are closer to being disposable compared to women, even when there is no sex.
