Can't believe the Rotten Tomatos score

This film has an 18% on RT. Doesn't even make sense. It's one of the best R-rated comedies of the new millennium. And one of my favorite all time comedies along with Animal House, Old School, Superbad, American Pie, etc.

Agreed! I don't get it either.. It's actually a relatively "smart" comedy.. Sone movies just don't get a chance for one reason or another..

Take a basic film course. It has terrible story structure. What was the climax of the film? They lead you to believe it was the "show down" between G-ma and Neo, but that wasn't climactic. It was boring.

Analyze it with a critical eye, and not as a fan, and you will understand.

That being said, I don't agree with their formula for rating a "good film". As far as I'm concerned, if it entertains me, its a good flick. I love this film, but it is very easy to see why it has a low critic rating when viewed objectively through their eyes.

There are dozens of "bad" comedies on RT that have, say, a 21%, or a 30% or a 26% that are way worse than this movie. My reaction to the score of 18% wasn't, "Oh man, this should be rated a 95". It's that it's amongst the lowest rated tripe in existence, and it doesn't deserve to be. It's actually pretty smart.

Are you not entertained?!

I agree entirely. I guess i slightly misunderstood.

It's actually pretty smart.

Let's not go overboard.
