In S2:E3, it shows flashbacks of when Michael was young and being beaten by his foster father and his real father rescuing him. In present day, when Lincoln brings their real father to meet with Michael and Sucre, Michael asks his father how he could do that to another human being with his bare hands. Why would he ask that when his real father is the one who rescued him, not beat him?

I guess he was upset that his dad killed that guy with his bare hands but later in the episode he gets upset when his dad died, claiming he saved his life so it was a really weird emotional change with that situation.
