One, maybe two ...
I just find it curious that in this show, the writers decided to have the characters say one, maybe two, when making an estimation, in many occasions.
For example, in season 1, when C-note asks Westmoreland how long does his daughter have, he says "Hospital says a week, maybe two".
Another example is during the escape, when Charles is about to die, and Michael says "It's just a couple more steps, you can make it", Charles says "Oh, I could make it another step, maybe two, but what's the point?"
Then in the first episode of season 2, when Mahone and Ives are talking about Michael's tattoos, Mahone asks "how long do you think it will take to get those tattoos?" and Ives says "A hundred hours, two hundred?"
Later on in the episode, when T-bag and Bellick are in a Panamanian jail, Bellick asks T-bag how much of the money did he spend, to which T-bag says "A hundred thousand, two hundred?"
There might be more examples of this, does anyone else find this curious, or know if this has any significance?
