Donald and Robert Hughes filed a lawsuit against FOX
Those two guys planned and successfully executed a prison escape in real life, they claimed they sent FOX their manuscript based on their own experiences and FOX went ahead and made the TV Show without consulting them. They also sued the show's executive producer and creator for copyright infringement. Just some info, do your research if you're interested.
