I laughed during the scene where the fat-headed dude was talking about "your people blah blah blah". What do you mean "your people"? They ARE the same as you. You just simply decided to not leave your place of residence.

shareAlso, they sure did turn into canibals rather quickly. They did the testing for the nuke in the 40's. I guess they decided to save all the energy they'd use to just walk into town and buy food, to wait for humans to come by so they could eat them and not die from prionic diseases. Seemed like they were *beep* nuts to begin with.
shareIf somebody (for example your own government) told you the area was about to be nuked, and you refused to leave, I think it might be safe to assume you'd be a psycho. Because a sane person would probably not wait to be bombed.
So yeah, it kinda does make sense.
