The One Death That Bums Me out Everytime...

is when the wife is shot in the head. i know it's coming. even the first time i saw it i knew since i had seen the original and knew what character she filled but the moment she enters the trailer i instantly feel bad for her. the look of shock on her face when she sees him holding her baby and then the look on her face the whole time he has a gun to her babies head while sucking the milk out of her breasts. it's just gut wrenching. i also find doug's whimper when he sees her laying on the floor to be really effective.

Lynn's death was probably the most heartbreaking part of the film. Ethel's is equally tragic, especially the moment where she stops breathing and her family realizes she's gone. It's like a punch to the gut.

Agreed. I just watched the movie again a few minutes ago and christ, what a quick sequence of brutal events.

I believe the father being burned alive is the most horrifying death in the movie. Being burned alive is a slow and very painful way to die. Plus the father screaming curdled my blood.

I agree. Lynn's death (even though I know it's coming) is always so heartbreaking to me. She's trying to protect her baby and sister and is sexually abused we spent so much of the movie liking these characters so when the blow finally comes, it's so heartbreaking. And I really wish Lynn had survived- even over Doug.

Yeah her death is probably the worst. I didn't see the original so I didn't know who would live or die and since she was a mother with a baby I didn't think she would die so quickly.
