This or the original?

One of very few films I prefer tge remake.

This is one of the few times I like the remake better.

Original. No contest.

I like them both, but slightly prefer the original.

The original was stupid and this remake is a work of art.

I prefer the original just a wee bit over this film. I thought the rather ragged quality of the filmmaking concerning the original gave it a certain raw immediacy and authenticity. The remake is a tad too slick for my personal taste. That said, the mutants in the remake were far more grotesque and frightening, there are a few nicely eerie moments like the automobile graveyard and the ramshackle house littered with mannequins, and I admired this film's take-no-prisoners attitude. So while I don't think the remake surpasses the original, it nonetheless doesn't shame it either.

Both are great, but I prefer the remake.
