This is the worst movie ever. There is *no* plot, terrible acting, ZERO story. Man, I just want to carve my eyes out with a dull spoon. It's that bad. If I threw up right now, and made a movie of it, it would be better than this film.

No I beg to differ! The worst movie to watch ever is Disaster Movie! Now that was crap right there! I loved watching Flyboys and wanted to go see this when it came out at the movie theater but did not have the money to go see it though.

Agreed, it was amusing in parts and I think we'd do well to remember more often what sacrifces were made for the freedom we enjoy today. Worst movie ever??? You can't have emassed much of a viewing library in that case. What were you expecting? A documentary?

Thank goodness for a fully functioning fast forward button to get me through this visually appealing, but sadly lacking film. Its filled with empty stereotypical characterizations, bad cliches, and shameful repackaged history. I especially liked the detail put into portraying the French Nieuport 17s and German Zeppelins, but the almost constant use of the Fokker DR I and their hamhanded paint jobs were ridiculous. The scene in which the black Fokker DR I triplane guns down a defenseless American pilot on the ground was the final nail in this film's coffin for me. I dare anyone to find an example of such an actual disgrace to have been committed by any airman, French, British, or German, during the Great War. Instead look up how they repected their foes and honored the fallen.
Worst ever movie for me was the THE AVENGERS remake, which I walked out of the theater to escape.

My worst ever is probably a movie called "Thunder", which I saw as a second feature back in the 1980s in Ireland. It was a cheap Rambo rip-off, about a modern Native American taking on a bunch of rednecks. It may have been Italin-made. Thankfully, I have never seen or heard of it since.

the effects and editing were a tremendous achievement. a couple of plot elements annoyed me, like the kamikaze into the Zeppelin and the pistol fight towards the end, but apart from that, it was a good action movie. Loved the planes.

Worst movie honors goes to Pearl Harbor. What a joke in which the way history was portrayed and to have Ben Affleck in all the major battles was a joke! That movie also left a lot out. Here they are showing the attack on Pearl Harbor then it goes to a quick 5 second clip of Yamamoto saying "I fear all we've done a is awaken a sleeping giant........" and moves to another scene. Those unfamiliar with history, which was probably 95% of the audience, would never understand why he would've made such a statement. In the movie Tora...Tora...Tora..., which did not have any love story injected, you knew exactly why such a statement would've been made.
