Deja Vu 2: 9/11

Brief plot synopsis:

2026. Special Agent Douglas Carlin is now head of the ultra secret 'Snow White' division and married for past 20 years to Claire. A high level FBI special agent has been secretly working on extending the time window and has the opportunity to do it one time only, but it might burn out the machine permanently. Carlin tells him no way bc they obviously need it for potential future events (which they've been solving and even preventing for past 20y). The agent decides to do it anyway one night breaks in with his team, sets the machine for the day before 9/11/01 (the day his family died)..

What happens next will unleash all kinds of quantum mechanics mayhem/fracturing alternate timelines, Carlin himself is faced with the temptation. Allow the towers to be restored thus creating a new timeline? Or play the hand that has been already dealt? And if so will the walls of reality (and Carlin's life) fall apart..?
