That they discovered the only way out - the underground tunnel ?!? To me it seems obvious they would have that covered just like the front door ??
shareLuke Wilson's character blocked the camera in the bathroom, I think that's why he put the shower rod and curtain back up in there again, just before he found the trap door he was looking for.
