Left Car Lights On

At the beginning did anybody notice that when they started to walk to the hotel they left their emergency blinkers still on?

They planned on returning to their car with a bad engine and a dead battery?

As long as it wasn't the battery itself that was part of the mechanical failures, it would have been perfectly fine to leave the hazzard lights flashing, sure. It's what you're supposed to do, and as long as you have a healthy battery, the drain on it would be minimal.

Just for the record, I'm female.....at least, last time I checked...

LOL I thought that too. I think people think that hazard lights don't really drain the battery, but they do. I had to leave mine on once, and they lasted a couple of hours before draining the battery. They should have just pushed the car off the road as far as they could have, locked it up and left it there. Or probably more sensible, just locked the doors and slept in their car until the morning.

I totally thought about this too. She just closes the door and doesn't even lock the car. And he doesn't mind she left the car flashing like a christmas tree. A bent fan blade is the least of their troubles in the morning when they got a dead battery.
