Would Sarah Jessica Parker have been a better choice instead of Kate?

It says on the trivia that Parker dropped out of this movie and was replaced by Kate.
I've never seen Parker in a role like this (if she plays a similiar role - write which one!!!) and I think she could have been pretty good and surprise us all.

What do you guys think?

reply

Parker? No way! She's a romantic comedy chick.

Sarah Jessica Parker would be no good for this role. That's just my opinion, but I can't imagine her playing in a movie like this. Kate was great, Sarah should stick to comedies.

reply

Kate was great...
Not exactly a very demanding role though, was it?

reply

No, definitely not. I am not a movie critic though, and what I saw, I enjoyed. If it was SJP, I honestly doubt I would.

reply

NO WAY, that would have totally ruined the movie!!

reply

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dont offend sjp with playing this park lol i mean i watching it once and once will be all thanks i regret paying £ 3.00 on paperview for it lol
sjp is good at what she does and i like to cast outside the box but this is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy out the box she woudlnt have been rite for it i dont think kate was right for it or luke for that matter *beep* film really good for a date or something i mean then you dont have to watch it you could kiss all the way thru lol

reply

I wouldn't have cared if Parker got killed or not, unlike Kate.

I clicked on the OP to make this exact comment, I see you've already done it. Well played.

Gary Coleman would have been better; no, perfect!

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

reply

Beckinsale was perfect. No question. SJP would not have been able to hold a candle to what kate did.

reply

Was it me, or did other people notice that Kate Beckinsale got more beautiful as the movie went on. In the beginning (before the hotel) when they are driving, she looked very washed out and plain, then somehow transformed as the movie progressed.

reply

I wouldn't have wanted to see Sarah Jessica Parker in this film. I dunno, I have this weird hang-up about seeing violence against horses.

"So I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?"

reply

Hahahahahahaha- that was awesome!

S.J.P. could poke someone's eye out with that beak.
