Good horror/thriller

It's not perfect but the characters are believable, good chemistry, intense scenes, and well made. All in all its above average.
Obviously there's bad points, stupid actions by the characters but what horror film doesn't have you screaming at the screen at the characters stupid choices. I don't understand the hate for this film. I think the opening credits alone makes this a pretty decent film.
Just compare this to all the other horror films out in the last 10 years and you'll see this is actually alright.
My point is there's hundreds of worst horrors out around and since this film so give it some credit.

Agreed. I often refer to Vacancy as the most underrated okay film I've seen. It's a decent film of that type that even has a couple moments of going against genre expectations.

Agreed. I always watch it when it's on. The suspense never gets old for me watching this movie. Very underrated.

Totally agree. Much better than it gets credit for.

Always get sucked in if its on while I'm surfing.

I agree I like this movie a lot. I love the “might as well have stuck that knife into his back yourself” line.

Good movie. Got to admit I only watched it because Kate Beckinsale was in it. But it turned out to be a good movie.

I feel like it sort of got a bad rap as a Saw/ Hostel ripoff when it really wasn't.
